Team Aster and Invictus Gaming have won their matches within the fifth week of the upper division of DPC 2021 Season 1: China, thus becoming the first two teams from the region to qualify for the major.
Yesterday IG defeated LBZS (2-0) and now have a 6-0 match score, while earlier today Aster outplayed MagMa (2-0) with their score now being 5-1. Despite having secured their place at the major, their exact seeding will depend on the results of the remaining series.

The Chinese upper division of DPC 2021 Season 1 will conclude on March 13th, with its winner advancing to the major’s playoffs, and its runner-up advancing to the group stage. Meanwhile, the teams placed 3rd and 4th will play in the Wild Card stage.
ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021 is scheduled for March 27th – April 4th and will feature 18 teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool. The competition in other regions has concluded earlier, and the tournament’s line-up looks as follows:
- Wild Card Seeds: Nigma, Liquid, T1, Gambit, 3rd-4th places from China
- Group Stage Seeds: Alliance, Neon, NAVI, Quincy Crew, Thunder Predator, 2nd place from China
