Bad News Bears and O Plano Are Last to Qualify for CS Summit 8

The final two participants of CS Summit 8 are Bad News Bears and O Plano. In the last matches of the closed qualifier the USA team BNB defeated GODSENT, while the Brazilian squad O Plano outplayed Team One. Both series concluded with a 2-1 score.

Earlier Extra Salt and paiN Gaming secured their places at the event after making all the way through the qualifier’s upper bracket. The qualified teams will join four invited teams, among which are Evil Geniuses, EXTREMUM, FURIA Esports and Team Liquid. They have been split into the groups as follows:

• Group A: EG, paiN, FURIA, O Plano
• Group B: Liquid, BNB, EXTREMUM, Extra Salt

CS Summit 8 is an RMR-event for North America with a $50,000 prize pool. The tournament will be played online from May 20th to 30th.
