BOOM Esports Part Ways with Drew
Yet another participant of the upper bracket of DPC 2021: SEA is making changes in their roster – the Indonesian team BOOM Esports has parted ways with their carry player Andrew "Drew" Halim without announcing his replacement.
22-years-old Drew, who earlier in his career also played for Alter Ego (2019) and Reality Rift (2019 – 2020), has been part of BOOM Esports since this year’s January. With them he competed in the upper bracket of DPC 2021 Season 1: Southeast Asia, where the team placed 5th, failing to make it to the major but retaining their place in the upper division for the second season.
BOOM Esports are the third participant of DPC’s upper bracket to make changes recently – earlier T1 replaced Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong with Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, while TNC Predator parted ways with Damien "kpii" Chok and Kim "Febby" Yong-min.
