Team Spirit have managed to make it all the way through the lower bracket at OGA Dota Pit Invitational, making it to the tournament’s grand finals. In its lower bracket final they successfully defeated Tundra Esports with a 2-0 score. Today they will face PSG.LGD in the grand finals.

The final series of the event is scheduled for 5:00 PM UK time and will follow a best-of-five format. Both Team Spirit and PSG.LGD are participants of The International 10. Earlier this year they faced each other twice – they tied in the group stage of WePlay AniMajor in June, while last month LGD outplayed Spirit (2-1) in the playoffs of ESL One Fall 2021.

It should be noted that the Chinese team plays without their carry player Cheng "NothingToSay" Jin Xiang, who is unable to get to Europe due to visa issues. For this reason, the team’s coach Zhang "xiao8" Ning plays in his stead. There are rumours that NothingToSay will not be able to attend The International 10 and the team is looking for a replacement.

OGA Dota PIT Invitational is an online event with $275,000 on the line. The winner will claim $114,500, while the runner-up will be awarded $59,500.
