EG will Play at EPL 14 without Stanislaw
Evil Geniuses’ captain Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz will not compete at the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 14, the player has announced on his Twitter page. At the event he will be replaced by the team’s coach Damian "daps" Steele.
Stanislaw explained that the summer break was not enough to prepare morally for international travel and competition. Hence, he decided to extend his break for another few weeks. The player expects to return to the team’s active roster in time for BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2021, which is scheduled for September 16th – 26th.
For daps as a player, ESL Pro League 14 will be the first event since late 2020, when he was still playing for Gen.G. Later he switched to VALORANT and this summer returned to CS:GO as a coach, replacing Wilton "zews" Prado in EG.
EPL 14 is the first major event after the summer break. It will be played online from August 16th to September 12th, featuring 24 teams competing for a $750,000 prize pool. Complexity will play in Group B alongside G2, VP, OG, Renegades, and Sinners.
