The Finnish CS:GO team ENCE has benched Jere "sergej" Salo. The organization announced that the player no longer has motivation to compete and instead decided to do the military service in the Finnish army.

Sergej is a 18-years-old player who has been competing since 2016. He joined ENCE in 2018 – with them he placed 5-8th at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 and 2nd at IEM XIII – Katowice Major 2019, as well as won a number of premier events, including BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019 and StarSeries i-League Season 6. In 2019, HLTV rated him 13th in their best players’ list.

Earlier this month ENCE signed Joonas "doto" Forss and Eetu "sAw" Saha from HAVU Gaming. This weekend ENCE failed to make it out of the group stage at IEM XV – Beijing Online, placing last at the event. Later this month the team will compete at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020: Europe – they will play there with a stand-in, Tuomas "SADDYX" Louhimaa, who was loaned from SJ Gaming.
