ENCE Terminate their Contract with SuNny

The Finnish organization ENCE has terminated their contract with Miikka "suNny" Kemppi, the former captain of their CS:GO roster. After being on the bench for three months, the player is now a free agent.

26-years-old suNny joined ENCE in August 2019 – during this time, the team’s biggest accomplishments were the second place at CS:GO Asia Championship 2019 and the 1st – 2nd finish at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Showdown. After a series of disappointing results last December ENCE announced their new international roster and benched suNny.

Since leaving ENCE’s active roster suNny has been planning to create a new team with Robin "flusha" Rönnquist, Timothy "autimatic" Ta and two new players. While flusha confirmed this information, he also mentioned that none of the organizations they approached showed interest in signing them. This month Autimatic left CS:GO to join T1’s VALORANT roster.

After the announcement of ENCE and suNny parting ways, the player went to Twitter to retweet flusha’s older post about an “interesting project”, adding that it involves a roster with both young and experienced players.
