ESL announces IEM Rio Major 2022 prize pool distribution

ESL has officially announced the distribution of the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 prize pool. Teams will compete for a total prize pool of $1,250,000.

Prize Pool Distribution

• 1st — $500,000
• 2nd — $170,000
• 3rd-4th — $80,000
• 5th-8th — $45,000
• 9th-11th — $20,000
• 12th-14th — $20,000
• 15th-16th — $20,000
• 17th-19th — $10,000
• 20th-22nd — $10,000
• 23rd-24th — $10,000

IEM Rio Major 2022 will begin October 31 and will run until November 13. Twenty-four teams will participate in the tournament.

RMR tournaments in four regions, which will form the list of participants, will be held October 4-9.
