ESL One Stockholm: Evil Geniuses Is the Only Team to not Advance to Playoffs
The group stage of ESL One Stockholm 2022 has concluded. Since Mind Games were disqualified, Evil Geniuses have become the only team that failed to advance to the tournament’s playoffs stage. Competing in Group A, they lost all their six matches.
Meanwhile Group B concluded with a tiebreaker for the placed from second to fifth between Thunder, TSM, Spirit and Liquid. Since Liquid lost all three matches, they finished 5th in the group and will start the playoffs in the lower bracket alongside Fnatic, BOOM and beastcoast. The competition continues today with the playoffs stage that will follow a double-elimination bracket, where all regular matches are best-of-three and the grand finale is best-of-five. The bracket is as follows:

ESL One Stockholm 2022 is the first major of the current Dota Pro Circuit. The event takes places in Stockholm’s Hovet Arena and features a $500,000 prize pool as well as 3,530 DPC points.
