China's National Team Wins the 2022 Asian Games

The 2022 Asian Games concluded on October 2nd. A total of 14 national teams participated in the tournament.

After the group stage, 8 teams advanced to the single-elimination playoffs: China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Nepal, and Kyrgyzstan.

On their journey to the grand finals, China's team defeated Thailand (2:0) and Malaysia (2:1). The second finalist was Mongolia, who beat Kazakhstan (2:1) and Kyrgyzstan (2:0).

In the best-of-3 grand finals, Mongolia won the first map. However, China came back to level the series and then clinched the decisive third map, winning 2:1.

Malaysia secured third place by defeating Kyrgyzstan in a clean sweep (2:0).
