HEROIC Claims the Title at PGL Wallachia Season 2

On the evening of October 13, the PGL Wallachia Season 2 matches concluded. The title of tournament champion was contested between Team Falcons and HEROIC.

Both teams advanced to the playoffs from the group stage with a 3-0 record and reached the upper bracket final undefeated, where Falcons came out on top (2:1). HEROIC then fell to the lower bracket, where they defeated Tundra Esports in a hard-fought battle (2:1) to earn a spot in the grand final.

The Best-of-5 championship match began with a victory for Falcons on the first map, which lasted 70 minutes. However, the South American team then leveled the series and went on to win two consecutive maps, ultimately claiming the PGL Wallachia Season 2 championship.

The tournament's prize pool amounted to $1,000,000, of which HEROIC earned $300,000.
