Groups for The International 10 Revealed

With The International 10 beginning tomorrow, VALVE have finally seeded its eighteen participants into two groups. The groups are following:

• Group A: Alliance, Evil Geniuses, Invictus Gaming, OG, T1, Team Aster, Team Undying, Thunder Predator, Virtus.pro
• Group B: Elephant, Fnatic, PSG.LGD, Quincy Crew, SG e-sports, Team Secret, Team Spirit, Vici Gaming, beastcoast

In these groups, the teams will compete with a round-robin format and best-of-two series. Based on the groups’ results, only two teams will be eliminated from the event. Meanwhile, the teams placed 1st – 4th in the groups will advance to the Winners’ Bracket, while the teams placed 5th – 8th will compete in the Losers’ Bracket. The matches will be played from October 7th to October 10th.

The International 10 with $40M at stake is scheduled for October 7th – 17th and will be played in Bucharest, Romania. Contrary to the initial plans, the event will be held without live audience due to a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.
