HUNDEN Felt Mentally Pressured in Heroic, But Was Not Allowed to Leave

Former Heroic coach Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen, who yesterday was banned by ESIC for two years for sharing his team’s confidential information to their competitor, has revealed additional information on the incident. He claims that he felt mentally pressured by one of the senior employees within the organization, however was not allowed to leave.

HUNDEN says that he has been feeling a severe mental pressure since 2020 from someone from the management. This year, “around April or May”, he expressed his desire to leave the organization, as he did not want to work with this person. It should be noted that this is the period when HUNDEN returned to the coaching role after spending eight months as an analyst due to another ban by ESIC for the camera bug abuse.

Despite HUNDEN’s desire to leave the organization, its management was not ready to let him go. According to the coach, the relationship between him and the management got worse this summer, so he decided to file a resignation letter. The organization offered him better conditions, including a car, an apartment and even a share of the club. However this offer did not change HUNDEN’s mind.

HUNDEN says that he decided to share the team’s “anti-strats” when he was no longer allowed to contact any members of the team. The coach believes that his actions could not hurt Heroic. According to tv2.dk, the recipient of the information was Astralis.

In a response to tv2.dk, Heroic’s CEO Joachim Haraldsen refused to go into details about the organization’s relationship with HUNDEN, however stated that he “paints a completely wrong picture”. He also mentioned that there were trust issued not only between HUNDEN and the management, but between him and the players as well.
