IEM Beijing: G2 and BIG Are the Last Teams to Qualify for Playoffs

The group stage of IEM XV – Beijing Online: Europe has concluded. In the last matches of Group B G2 Esports outplayed mousesports (2-1), while BIG defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1). Both victorious teams became the last to qualify for the playoffs.

The playoffs stage will follow a single-elimination format with regular series being best-of-three and grand finals being best-of-five. The first pair of the quarterfinals is scheduled for November 19th, with FaZe Clan taking on G2 Esports (2:00 PM UK time) and Astralis competing with Natus Vincere (5:30 PM). The rest of the quarterfinals will be played the next day, on November 20th – Complexity vs BIG (2:00 PM) and Heroic vs Team Vitality (5:30 PM).

IEM XI – Beijing Online: Europe will conclude on November 22nd, with its winner getting $60,000 in prize money, 400 ESL Pro Tour points and a ticket to IEM XV – Global Challenge. Later this week the playoffs stage will also begin in the North American region, where in the semifinals Team Liquid will face Triumph (November 20th, 9:00 PM), while Evil Geniuses will play with Chaos EC (November 21st, 9:00 PM).
