LEC Spring 2021: Group Stage is Over with G2 and Rogue on Top

The group stage of LEC Spring 2021 has concluded yesterday, with G2 Esports, Rogue, MAD Lions and FC Schalke 04 Esports qualifying for the playoffs upper bracket. Meanwhile Fnatic and SK Gaming will play in the lower bracket.

The group stage was played from January 22nd to March 14th, featuring ten teams competing in a single group with the double round robin format and best-of-one series. The results look as follows:

The playoffs stage is scheduled for March 26th – April 11th, with all matches being best-of-five. The winner of the playoffs stage will qualify for the earlier announced MSI 2021. The pairs for the first series look as follows (UK time):

  • Losers’ Round 1: Fnatic vs SK Gaming (5:00 PM, March 26th)
  • Semifinal #1: G2 vs FC Schalke (4:00 PM, March 27th)
  • Semifinal #2: Rogue vs MAD Lions (4:00 PM, March 28th)
