Mushi Joins TNC Predator as a Coach
TNC Predator have signed Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung as a coach. The announcement reads that he will work with the team during the qualifiers for The International 10. It is safe to assume that if the team manages to get to the TI, Mushi will coach them there as well.
30-years-old Malaysian player Mushi has been competing in Dota 2 since 2011. Last time he was in the spotlight in 2018, when he managed to place 9 – 12th at The International with Mineski. Since then he has been playing for less known teams without much success. His most recent team was SMG – with them he finished second in the recent Lower Division of DPC 2021: SEA. His only coaching experience was in 2019, when he helped Mineski to place 9 – 12th at that year’s The International.
TNC Predator have seen a moderate success this year – they have been competing in the Upper Bracket of the regional DPC-league, placing 4th in the first season and 2nd in the second one. The team managed to qualify for WePlay Animajor, where they placed 7-8th. The team did not get enough points to be invited to the TI, so they will compete in the qualifiers. There they will start from the upper bracket and will face Team SMG in their first series. The qualifier is scheduled for June 30th – July 3rd.
