Natus Vincere Are Confirmed to Play at PGL Stockholm Major

Natus Vincere have become the first team to qualify for PGL Stockholm Major. Due to the team’s first placement in the CIS major rankings and their seed at the upcoming IEM XVI – Fall, the team is guaranteed to partake in the major. The only scenario of them missing the major includes roster changes.

NAVI are currently the leaders of the Regional Major Rankings in CIS – they are leading with 3680 score and are followed by Team Spirit (3530) and Gambit Esports (3475). At IEM Fall (September 29th – October 3rd), which is the final RMR-event before the Stockholm Major, they will compete in Group A alongside Spirit, Entropiq, Nemiga, AVE and Akuma. Their result will determine in which stage of the major they will start competing.

Currently ranked #1 by hltv, NAVI have been on a winning streak for the last few months, placing first at StarLadder CIS RMR 2021, IEM XVI – Cologne, and ESL Pro League 14, as well as winning Intel Grand Slam Season 3. Recently the team parted ways with Egor "flamie" Vasilev, who was part of the team since 2015.

PGL Major Stockholm 2021 will be played on October 26th – November 7th in Stockholm, Sweden. The tournament will be held at Avicii Arena with live audience. The tournament’s prize pool is set at $2,000,000 that will be split between 24 participants.
