NAVI Defeat Gambit to Win BLAST Premier World Final 2021

Natus Vincere have managed to finish their already successful year with yet another big victory – yesterday they placed first at BLAST Premier: World Final 2021, claiming $500,000 in prize money. In the grand finals they defeated Gambit Esports with a 2-1 score.

NAVI started the event with an unexpected loss to Team Liquid (1-2) and had to make it all the way through the lower bracket. There they outplayed Heroic (2-0), G2 (2-1), Liquid (2-0), and Vitality (2-0). In the final series NAVI lost their pick, Mirage, with a 11:16 score, but later managed to beat their opponents at Ancient (16:11) and Inferno (16:6).

This year has been extremely successful for NAVI, who decided to replace their longtime player Egor "flamie" Vasilyev with a 18-years-old Valerii "b1t" Vakhovskyi. The updated roster managed to win the first major in the team’s history and the third season of Intel Grand Slam, as well as emerged at numerous premier events.
