NAVI Replace Flamie with B1t for next RMR and DreamHack Masters Events
Natus Vincere have announced that their CS:GO roster will compete in the next few events without Egor "flamie" Vasilev. He will be replaced by the team’s young sixth player Valerii "B1T" Vakhovskyi.
Besides the first Regional Major Ranking event, Flamie will also miss out on the upcoming DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 – the team will use this event as a training ground to prepare for the season’s first RMR event. In the next two weeks DreamHack tournament, the team will be at their bootcamp between April 11th and 24th.
The line-up change has been made to the accommodate to the earlier adjusted rules for official VALVE competitions, which introduced a penalty to using more than five players. The team’s coach Andrii "B1ad3" Gorodenskyi will be featured in a future video to talk more about the reasoning of this change. The organization stressed however that Flamie remains part of their main roster.
NAVI promoted B1T to the main roster last December – earlier the 17-years-old player was part of the organization’s junior squad. Up to this point, B1T has been used as a replacement for flamie at several maps.
