Noone Officially Joins AS Monaco Gambit
The Russian organization Gambit Esports has announced that Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko is now a full member of their Dota 2 line-up after a two-month period of standing-in for the team. Earlier last week the player was publicly looking for a new team.
23-years-old midlaner from Ukraine Noone, who is known for his four-years tenure with Virtus.pro (2016 – 2020), joined Gambit Esports in February as a stand-in – he helped the team to place third in the CIS DPC league and qualify for the major’s Wild Card stage. There, however, the team finished fourth with a 3-2 score, being only one step from advancing to the next stage.
Last week Noone published a post on Twitter, stating that he was looking for a team in either Europe or CIS to play as a midlaner. Possibly, this way he tried to either explore all his possibilities or get better contract conditions from Gambit Esports, one of the biggest organizations in the region that recently announced partnership with the football club AS Monaco.
