PSG.LGD Sweep EG in the Grand Finals of WePlay AniMajor

PSG.LGD have become the champions of WePlay AniMajor. In the grand finals of the major they managed to sweep Evil Geniuses with a 3-0 score, claiming $200,000 in prize money and 500 DPC points. The runner-ups have received $100,000 and 450 points.

PSG.LGD managed to win the event without losing a single series. First, they showed the best result in the group stage, where they won four and tied three games. Then they made it all the way though the upper bracket, defeating Alliance (2-0), Team Nigma (2-1), and T1 (2-1) on the way to the grand finals.

WePlay AniMajor was played from June 2nd to 13th in Kyiv, Ukraine, featuring $500,000 and 2700 DPC points up for grabs. The results look as follows:

• 1st – $200,000 – 500 points – PSG.LGD
• 2nd – $100,000 – 450 points – Evil Geniuses
• 3rd – $75,000 – 400 points – T1
• 4th – $50,000 – 350 points – Vici Gaming
• 5-6th – $25,000 – 300 points – Quincy Crew, Team Nigma
• 7-8th – $12,500 – 200 points – Team Spirit, TNC Predator

Following the conclusion of the major, we now know all twelve teams that acquired enough DPC points to receive direct invites to The International 10 – they are Evil Geniuses (1700), PSG.LGD (1300), Virtus.pro (1200), Quincy Crew (1100), Invictus Gaming (1100), T1 (1070), Vici Gaming (950), Team Secret (950), Team Aster (800), Alliance (800), beastcoast (800), and Thunder Predator (800).
