PSG.LGD Sweep Elephant in the Grand Finals of OGA Dota PIT Season 5

PSG.LGD have become the champions of OGA Dota PIT Season 5. They managed to defeat Elephant in the event’s grand finals with a 3-0 score, with each map lasting no more than 30 minutes. The winners have claimed $62,500 in prize money, while the runner-ups received $32,500.

Both Elephant and PSG.LGD started the event in Group B, where they placed first and second respectively. There Elephant won all series, while PSG.LGD lost only one match. To reach the grand finals, Elephant needed to win only two playoffs series – they outplayed Vici Gaming (2-0) and Invictus Gaming (2-1). Meanwhile PSG.LGD lost their very first playoffs match to RNG (0-2), and then made it all the way through the lower bracket, where they beat VG (2-1), Aster (2-0), and IG (2-0).

The fifth season of OGA Dota Pit was played only in China – it was held from August 7th to August 16th, featuring 8 teams competing for a $150,000 prize pool. Both finalists of the event – PSG.LGD and Elephant – will participate in The International 10.
