Talon Esports Enter Dota 2 with a Roster Led by Fly
A Hong Kong esports organization Talon Esports has opened their Dota 2 roster. The roster will be led by 28-years-old Tal "Fly" Aizik, who for the last three years has been the captain of Evil Geniuses.
The rest of the line-up consists of players from the Southeast Asia region. Two of them are Indonesian players, who previously played together for BOOM Esports – midlaner Rafli Fathur "Mikoto" Rahman and support Brizio Adi "Hyde" Putra Budiana. The team’s two core players – Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte and Damien "kpii" Chok – earlier played together for TNC Predator.
Evil Geniuses have not announced Fly’s replacement. However, Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte revealed during his stream that EG will also part ways with Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, who is expected to transfer to Team Secret. Meanwhile the two new players of EG are supposed to be Jesse "JerAx" Vainikka, a former OG player who has been inactive for almost two years, and a 19-years-old Russian player Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko, who most recently represented Virtus.pro. Note that this information has not been confirmed by Evil Geniuses.
