Unicorns of Love Disband After their Last Place at Worlds 2021
Unicorns of Love have parted ways with all players of their League of Legends roster. The news arrive just a week after the team placed last in the Play-In stage of the ongoing 2021 World Championship.
The core of the roster – Vladislav "BOSS" Fomin, Kirill "AHaHaCiK" Skvortsov, Lev "Nomanz" Yakshin and Aleksandr "SaNTaS" Lifashin have been playing for UoF since 2019 and managed to win the previous six LCL splits in a row.
During these years, the team also attended all Worlds events – they placed 17th – 20th in 2019 and 13th – 16th in 2020. This year the team failed to make it out of the first round of the Play-In stage, managing to win only one game.
The official statement reads that the players want to move to the next level and try themselves in Europe – in EU Masters and in LEC. Meanwhile Unicorns of Love plan to assemble another CIS roster to continue competing in LCL.
