Virtus.pro Win the First Division of EPIC League
Virtus.pro’s new Dota 2 roster has won its first event under this name – the team led by Vitalie "Save-" Melnic managed to defeat OG in the grand finals of EPIC League – Division 1, securing $200,000 in prize money. The runner-up team received half of that amount.
VP started the event by winning the group stage with the 7-2 series score, losing only to Team Liquid and Vikin.gg, both times 1-2. The first place in group allowed them to start the playoffs from the upper bracket – there they defeated Team Secret (2-0) and Vikin.gg (2-0). The final series concluded with the 3-2 score.
