VP and NAVI to Play at ONE Esports Singapore Major 2021
While the Upper Division of ESL One CIS DPC Season 1 will not be over until the end of February, two teams – Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere – have already secured their places in this year’s first major. However, their remaining matches will decide their seeding.
Both Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere have won their first five matches, however VP lost only one map, while NAVI – two. Next week Virtus.pro will face NoTechies (February 19th, 1:55 UK time), while NAVI will play with Team Spirit (February 21st, 4:55 PM). In the event’s final match, which is scheduled for February 26th, 4:55 PM, these teams will face each other.

Although both Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere are guaranteed to advance to the major, the remaining matches still remain important for the teams: the leader of the group will be invited directly to the major’s playoffs stage, while the teams placed 2nd and 3rd will qualify for the Group Stage and the Wild Card respectively.
The first major of the season – ONE Esports Singapore 2021 – was announced earlier this month and is scheduled for March 27th – April 4th and will feature a $500,000 prize pool.
