Worlds 2021: Unicorns of Love and Infinity Eliminated
The first round of World Championship 2021 Play-In has concluded – Infinity from LLA and Unicorns of Love from LCL have become the first two teams to be eliminated from the event.
Both teams placed last in their groups – while Infinity failed to win a single game, Unicorns of Love at least managed to win one match. Meanwhile the leaders of the groups – LNG Esports and DetonatioN FocusMe – have advanced to the Main Group Stage.

The second round of Play In will begin later today with a single-elimination bracket and best-of-five series. The teams placed 3rd and 4th in the groups will face each other in the semifinals, and then the winners will compete with the groups’ runner-ups. The bracket looks as follows:

2021 World Championship is being held in Reykjavík, Iceland and will conclude on November 6th. The tournament’s prize pool is set at $2,225,000.
