Overwatch 2 developers have disabled Wrecking Ball in the game due to a bug, where the character can crash the servers. The developers hope that the hero will return by the next week, which means that the regular season of Overwatch League 2022 will start without the character.

Beta testing of Overwatch 2 has begun on April 26th and is mainly focused on PvP features. Most notably, the game’s main format has been changed from 6v6 to 5v5. The sequel also introduced a new hero Sojourn as well as significant reworks to Orisa and Doomfist.

Overwatch League 2022 – Regular Season begins tomorrow, on May 5th and will be played at the early build of Overwatch 2. The league will be split into two divisions – East and West – and will last for five months.
